it's like photography and i have been dating for many years...and finally, after being broken up for a while, we're back to being friends again. we're not super close yet. in fact, we're just getting used to each other. the camera i bought over a year ago is still new to me and the only way i allow myself to understand it is by trial and error. and that only works if i decide to pick it up and use it. i hate reading directions and booklets, but i probably should page through this one to find out where certain things are...but oh well. it was almost a year ago that i promised myself i would pick up my camera and find the love in it that i use

i picked up a camera for the first time creatively since 2006. i just recently acquired a canon d7 and the minute i started just walking around my apartment snapping pictures...i felt a breath of inspiration that hasn't been in me for so long. i've missed this feeling so much...i've felt so empty without it. having this creative outlet again makes me feel so much better. i can't even begin to explain to you all what it means to me. it has been a long, LONG time since i've been here...but i'm back. i'm a bit rusty but in time i think i'll start thinking like i used to and be able to put out some deep thought out photos with some stories behin
